1 pint cherry tomatoes

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Notes

Fresh tomatoes and basil enhance the natural sweetness and aroma of the dish.

If the sauce becomes too thick add a small splash of pasta water for a smoother texture.

Shrimp cook quickly so remove them from the heat as soon as they turn opaque.

Add basil at the end of cooking to preserve its color and fragrance.
