Snickerdoodle Cookie Gift Jars are a fun and creative way to share homemade cookies with friends or family. Layered with the perfect dry ingredients and paired with a simple baking guide, these jars allow anyone to enjoy soft, chewy cinnamon-sugar cookies anytime. They make charming gifts that are easy to personalize and visually appealing.

Ingredients

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 ½ cups white sugar

1 cup unsalted butter

2 large eggs

½ cup white sugar (for cinnamon-sugar coating)

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup butter and 2 eggs until smooth.

3. Add the snickerdoodle dry mix from the jar and stir until a uniform dough forms.

4. In a small bowl, combine ½ cup sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon.

5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

6. Place cookies 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly golden brown.

8. Cool cookies on wire racks before serving.

Notes

Store dry ingredient jars in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to maintain freshness.

Chill dough for 10–15 minutes before rolling to prevent cookies from spreading too much.

For softer cookies, avoid overbaking and remove them when lightly golden.

Use parchment paper for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.

Decorate jars with ribbons or tags for a personalized touch.
