Description

A warm and creamy Slow-Cooker Ranch Potato & Sausage Casserole made with tender Southern-style hash browns, seasoned beef smoked sausage, sharp cheddar, onion, and a rich ranch mushroom blend for a hearty and comforting meal.


Ingredients

32 ounces Southern style hash browns

Two 14 ounce packages Midamar Beef Smoked Sausage or Al Safa Beef Smoked Sausage sliced

Two cups freshly grated Cabot Sharp Cheddar or Tillamook Sharp Cheddar

One medium onion diced

One 10.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup

One 1 ounce packet ranch seasoning mix


Instructions

In your slow cooker combine the hash browns beef sausage cheddar cheese onion cream of mushroom soup and ranch seasoning until everything is gently mixed together

Cover and cook on low for four to six hours until the potatoes are tender and the cheese has melted smoothly into the mixture

Give the casserole a gentle stir before serving to blend the creamy potato base with the savory sausage and melted cheese

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for three to four days

For freezing let the casserole cool completely then freeze it in a sealed container for up to three months

Reheat gently in the microwave or warm on the stovetop with a splash of broth if needed to refresh the creaminess

To make ahead assemble all ingredients in the slow cooker insert the night before cover and refrigerate then cook on low the next day
