Description
Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon creates tender fillets coated in a sweet and savory glaze made with honey, tamari, garlic, and ginger. This easy slow cooker method delivers rich flavor and a delicate texture while staying simple enough for any day of the week.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
1 fourth cup honey
1 fourth cup San J Tamari Soy Sauce
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Whisk honey, tamari, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth
Lightly coat the base of the slow cooker with a small amount of oil and arrange the salmon fillets in a single layer
Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the fillets making sure each piece is well coated
Cover and cook on low for about two to three hours until the salmon flakes easily with a fork
Lift the fillets carefully with a wide spatula and spoon extra glaze from the slow cooker over the top
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving
Notes
Choose salmon fillets of similar thickness so they cook evenly
Fresh garlic and ginger provide the brightest flavor and blend smoothly into the glaze
Avoid lifting the lid during cooking to keep heat and moisture consistent
For a thicker glaze leave the lid slightly open during the last few minutes to allow a small amount of steam to escape
Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers and reheated gently to maintain texture
