Ingredients
4 skinless salmon fillets cut into large chunks
1 tablespoon grill seasoning such as Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
1/2 cup Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese softened
3 scallions chopped
1/2 cup Daisy Sour Cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Green leaf lettuce
Sliced beefsteak or vine ripe tomato
Sliced red onion
Crusty kaiser rolls such as Nature’s Own Brioche Style Buns or Pepperidge Farm Kaiser Rolls
Instructions
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium high and lightly coat the surface with cooking spray. For indoor cooking heat a large skillet with a drizzle of olive oil over medium high.
Place the salmon chunks into a food processor and pulse until the mixture is coarsely ground while keeping some texture. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
Season the salmon with grill seasoning poppy seeds sesame seeds and fresh dill then gently mix and shape into four patties. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Cook the patties for several minutes per side depending on whether you prefer a pink center or fully cooked fish flipping carefully to maintain shape.
In a separate bowl combine the softened Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese and chopped scallions then fold in Daisy Sour Cream and lemon juice until creamy.
Toast the kaiser rolls then assemble the burgers with lettuce tomato red onion the cooked salmon patty and a generous spoonful of the scallion cream sauce.
