Description

Quick Oreo Chocolate Truffles Bites are rich, creamy, no-bake treats made with crushed chocolate cookies, smooth cream cheese, and coated in melted white chocolate. These bite-sized desserts are easy to prepare and perfect for satisfying chocolate cravings with minimal effort.


Ingredients

1 package chocolate sandwich cookies about 10.5 oz or 300 g

8 oz cream cheese softened about 1 cup such as Philadelphia Cream Cheese or Organic Valley Cream Cheese

1 tablespoon vanilla flavor such as Simply Organic Vanilla Flavor or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor

12 oz white chocolate melting chips about 2 cups

1/4 cup sprinkles or chocolate decorations


Instructions

• Place chocolate sandwich cookies into a food processor and blend until fine crumbs form

• Transfer crumbs to a large bowl and ensure there are no large chunks

• Add softened cream cheese and vanilla flavor to the crumbs and mix until a smooth dough forms

• Scoop small portions and roll into 1 inch balls using your hands

• Arrange balls on a parchment lined tray and freeze for 30 minutes until firm

• Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals stirring each time until smooth

• Dip each truffle into melted chocolate using a fork and allow excess chocolate to drip off

• Place coated truffles back onto the tray and immediately add sprinkles on top

• Return tray to freezer for another 30 minutes until chocolate is fully set

• Serve chilled or slightly softened for the best texture

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing and a smoother texture

Chill the mixture if it becomes too soft while shaping the truffles

Stir chocolate frequently while melting to prevent overheating

For a less sweet taste use dark chocolate instead of white chocolate
