A creamy, nutty pistachio latte made with espresso, almond milk, and pistachio paste — a cozy homemade treat that’s quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon pistachio paste
1 tablespoon condensed milk
6 oz almond milk
2 oz espresso shot
6 pistachios, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Add milk to a small saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil.
2. Add pistachio paste and condensed milk to a cup.
3. Pour the hot milk over it and whisk with a frother.
4. Pour it over espresso.
5. Garnish with thinly sliced pistachios.
6. Give a quick stir and enjoy.
Notes
Pistachio paste works great, but pistachio butter from a quality brand is also a good substitute.
Use 1 tablespoon of pistachio paste per 6 oz of milk, or more for a nuttier taste.
To make this latte vegan, use dairy-free milk and dairy-free condensed milk.
Add 2 espresso shots for a stronger drink.
Adjust sweetness with less condensed milk or your preferred sweetener.
