Ingredients
24 pretzel rods
4 oz (115 g) red candy melts
4 oz (115 g) blue candy melts
4 oz (115 g) white candy melts
3 tbsp red, white, and blue star sprinkles
1 tsp coconut oil per color (optional, for smoother melting)
Instructions
• Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper and set aside
• Place red candy melts in a tall microwave safe glass and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring each time until smooth
• Repeat the melting process separately for blue and white candy melts until all are fully melted
• Stir in a small amount of coconut oil if needed to achieve a smooth and pourable consistency
• Dip 8 pretzel rods into the blue candy melts, coating evenly and allowing excess to drip off
• Place dipped pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet
• Repeat the process with 8 pretzel rods using red candy melts and the remaining 8 using white candy melts
• Use a fork to drizzle contrasting colors over each coated pretzel for decoration
• Immediately sprinkle star sprinkles over the wet coating so they stick properly
• Allow pretzels to set at room temperature for about 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes until fully hardened
• Carefully remove from parchment paper and serve or store
