A creamy and colorful Patriotic Blue Red Colors Ice Cream made with a no churn method. This smooth coconut flavored dessert features vibrant red and blue swirls, perfect for a fun and refreshing homemade treat.
Ingredients
4 cups (960 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled
1 can (14 oz or 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup (200 g) white icing
10 drops red food gel coloring
2 drops blue food gel coloring
3 tablespoons coconut flavoring extract
Ice cream cones for serving
Instructions
• Pour chilled heavy whipping cream into a mixing bowl and add coconut flavoring extract
• Whip on low speed then gradually increase speed until soft peaks form and texture becomes fluffy
• Gently fold in sweetened condensed milk using a spatula to keep the mixture airy
• Add red food gel coloring and mix until desired shade is reached
• Pour half of the mixture into a 9×9 inch pan to form the base layer
• In a separate bowl mix white icing with blue food gel until evenly colored
• Drop spoonfuls of blue icing randomly over the red layer without mixing
• Add remaining red mixture on top and repeat adding small amounts of blue icing
• Smooth the surface lightly while keeping the marbled effect intact
• Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until fully set
• Let sit a few minutes before scooping and serve in cones
Notes
Use gel food coloring instead of liquid to maintain thick texture and vibrant color
Do not mix the red and blue layers too much to avoid creating a purple color
Ensure cream is very cold before whipping for best volume and texture
Store ice cream in an airtight container to prevent ice crystals
Allow ice cream to soften slightly before scooping for smooth serving
