Description

Orange Pineapple Juice is a refreshing homemade drink made with fresh pineapple and juicy oranges. This naturally sweet beverage combines tropical and citrus flavors into a smooth, vibrant juice that is perfect for daily hydration, quick energy, and a boost of vitamin C. Made without additives or preservatives, it delivers clean flavor, bright color, and flexible texture options.

Ingredients

Fresh ripe pineapple, peeled, cored, and chopped, about 900 grams or 2 pounds, yields approximately 3 cups juice

Fresh oranges such as navel or Valencia, about 9 medium fruits or 1.4 kilograms, yields approximately 3 cups juice

Cold filtered water, optional for blending, one third to one half cup

Ice cubes, optional for serving

Fresh mint leaves, optional garnish

Fresh basil leaves, optional garnish

Honey or agave syrup, optional for glass rim

Tajin chili lime seasoning, optional for glass rim

Instructions

1. Wash all fruit thoroughly under cool running water

2. Peel the pineapple, remove the core, and cut it into chunks that fit into a juicer or blender

3. Juice the pineapple using a juicer and collect the juice in a large measuring jug

4. If using a blender, blend the pineapple until smooth and strain if a smoother texture is preferred

5. Cut the oranges in half and extract the juice using a citrus squeezer, removing any seeds

6. Pour the orange juice into the pitcher with the pineapple juice and stir gently to combine

7. Taste the juice and adjust consistency with cold water or ice if desired

8. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint or basil leaves

9. Serve immediately for the freshest flavor

Notes

Use fully ripe fruit for the best natural sweetness and balanced flavor

If the juice tastes slightly bitter, add a small amount of honey or agave syrup to balance it

For a pulpy texture, blend the fruit and skip straining

Chilling the fruit before juicing creates a colder drink without extra ice

Natural separation may occur, so stir gently before serving

Consume in moderation due to natural fruit sugars
