Description
Crispy chicken tenders, fresh vegetables, creamy honey mustard dressing and soft tortillas come together to create flavorful Honey Mustard Chicken Wraps that are quick, satisfying and perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
4 large burrito size tortillas such as Mission Flour Tortillas or La Banderita Burrito Grande
10 to 12 frozen chicken tenders such as Real Good Foods lightly breaded chicken strips
8 slices Tillamook Provolone Cheese
2 to 3 cups thinly sliced green leaf lettuce
1/2 cup julienned carrots
1 small cucumber cubed
Dill pickle chips
Chopped green onions
Dressing:
3 tablespoons Chobani Greek Yogurt
3 tablespoons mayo
1 tablespoon Sir Kensington’s Dijon Mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Crystal Hot Sauce or another mild hot sauce
Instructions
1. Whisk the dressing ingredients in a bowl until creamy and smooth then adjust the seasoning to taste and add more hot sauce if you want additional heat.
2. Cook the chicken tenders until crisp following the package directions and let them rest briefly so the coating stays firm.
3. Combine the sliced lettuce carrots and cucumbers in a bowl then pour in half the dressing and toss gently to coat.
4. Lay a tortilla flat and spread a generous spoonful of dressing down the center then place two slices of Tillamook Provolone Cheese on top.
5. Add a scoop of the dressed vegetables two or three chicken strips several dill pickle chips and chopped green onions then drizzle with a little more dressing.
6. Fold the sides inward and roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom to form a snug burrito style wrap.
7. Toast the wrap in a lightly oiled pan over medium heat until both sides are golden and crisp.
Notes
Warm the tortillas slightly before assembling so they roll easily.
