Description

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wraps blend tender shredded chicken with a rich alcohol free Parmesan garlic sauce then tuck fresh lettuce diced tomatoes and shredded mozzarella into soft flour tortillas for a quick satisfying meal that works for lunch dinner or meal prep


Ingredients

3 cups prepared chopped or shredded Makin’ Magic Chicken thawed if frozen

1/2 cup Parmesan garlic wing sauce such as Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce or Sweet Baby Ray’s Garlic Parmesan Sauce

6 extra large flour tortillas such as Mission Flour Tortillas La Banderita Flour Tortillas or Guerrero Soft Flour Tortillas

6 tablespoons blue cheese dressing such as Kens Steakhouse Blue Cheese or Maries Blue Cheese Dressing

Shredded lettuce

Chopped tomatoes

Shredded mozzarella cheese such as Tillamook Shredded Mozzarella or Cabot Mozzarella Shreds

Optional additions avocado baby spinach or Tillamook Farmstyle Fine Cut Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese


Instructions

1. Combine the chopped or shredded chicken and the Parmesan garlic wing sauce in a large bowl and toss until every piece is evenly coated

2. Lay the extra large flour tortillas on a clean flat surface and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them placing the filling in the center of each tortilla

3. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the chicken add shredded lettuce chopped tomatoes and shredded mozzarella or your preferred cheese

4. Fold the left and right sides of each tortilla toward the center then roll from the bottom up to form a burrito style wrap

5. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately or wrap tightly for later

Notes

To make ahead mix the chicken and sauce then pack the mixture in a quart freezer bag place tortillas in a separate gallon freezer bag and store shredded cheese in a small bag combine all bags in one larger bag then freeze until needed

When ready thaw completely in the refrigerator rewarm the chicken gently in a skillet if you prefer a warm filling then assemble the wraps adding fresh lettuce and tomatoes just before serving for best texture

To reduce sodium choose low sodium tortillas and dressings and use smaller amounts of dressing for a lighter option

These wraps keep well for up to two days refrigerated when fully assembled and the chicken mixture stays fresh for up to three days when stored separately
