Description
A rich and creamy Garlic Cream Shrimp Skillet made with tender shrimp, sweet mini peppers, smooth cream cheese, and Parmesan. This quick one pan meal delivers bold garlic flavor and a silky sauce that coats every bite.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
1 pound shrimp deveined with tails removed
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
3 to 4 cloves garlic pressed
8 ounces sweet mini peppers chopped
1 cup vegetable broth
4 ounces Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Tillamook Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque, then season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Add the garlic and chopped mini peppers to the same skillet and cook until lightly browned and softened.
Pour in the vegetable broth and let it bubble until reduced by half while loosening any browned bits on the bottom of the skillet.
Add the cream cheese and whisk until melted and smooth, forming a creamy sauce.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir gently to coat them in the sauce.
Sprinkle Parmesan over the skillet, mix to combine, and finish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for two to three days and reheat slowly with a splash of broth or olive oil.
Shrimp may be replaced with diced chicken breast cooked fully before adding the sauce ingredients.
Cream cheese may be swapped with half and half or canned coconut milk for a lighter texture.
Mini peppers can be substituted with chopped zucchini depending on preference.
