This straightforward recipe uses simple ingredients and easy techniques to produce juicy patties perfect for grilling or pan searing. The blend of fresh garlic, minced onion, Crystal Worcestershire Sauce, and Italian seasoning creates a deeply savory profile that shines when cooked to a safe internal temperature.
Ingredients
Two pounds ground beef
One half cup minced onion
Three cloves garlic minced
One tablespoon Crystal Worcestershire Sauce
One teaspoon Italian seasoning
One teaspoon salt
One half teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Combine the ground beef with the minced onion and minced garlic in a large bowl and gently fold in the Crystal Worcestershire Sauce Italian seasoning salt and ground black pepper until evenly mixed
Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator to rest for two to four hours this step helps the flavors meld and makes the mixture easier to shape
Divide the chilled mixture into six even portions and gently press each portion into a half inch thick patty keeping the thickness uniform for even cooking
Preheat an outdoor grill until very hot and lightly oil the grate or heat a cast iron skillet over medium high heat if cooking indoors
Place the patties on the hot grate or in the skillet and cook without pressing down until nicely seared on the first side then flip and cook the other side continue until the center is no longer pink and an instant read thermometer registers at least one hundred sixty degrees Fahrenheit
Allow the cooked patties to rest briefly before serving this helps redistribute juices and keeps the burgers juicy
Notes
Use an eighty twenty beef blend for best flavor and juiciness
Mince the onion very finely to help the patties hold together and avoid excess moisture by gently squeezing out very juicy onion before adding it to the meat
Avoid over mixing as that can produce dense tough patties mix just until combined
Create a shallow indent in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking
If you like a milder garlic flavor lightly sauté the garlic first then cool before adding to the meat
