1 1/4 cups (296 ml) buttermilk

1 cup colorful sprinkles

For the Frosting

1 cup (227 g) unsalted butter, softened

4 cups (452 g) powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon Simply Organic Vanilla Flavor or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor (15 ml)

2 to 3 tablespoons (30 to 45 ml) heavy whipping cream


Instructions

• Preheat oven to 350°F and line cupcake pans with paper liners

• Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl until evenly combined

• In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth and creamy

• Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition

• Stir in Simply Organic Vanilla Flavor or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor for rich aroma

• Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk into the batter, starting and ending with flour, mixing gently

• Fold in sprinkles carefully to keep colors vibrant
