Description

A flavorful and comforting Egg Fried Rice with Mixed Vegetables made with soft scrambled eggs, tender vegetables, seasoned rice, and a clean soy style seasoning. This skillet meal is quick, satisfying, and perfect for everyday cooking.

Ingredients

½ cup butter unsalted

2 cups mixed vegetables thawed or drained if canned

4 tablespoons dried minced onion or 1 medium diced onion

½ teaspoon garlic powder or 4 cloves minced garlic

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

4 eggs beaten

4 cups cooked rice loosened

⅓ cup Crystal Worcestershire Style Sauce or clean soy style seasoning

Instructions

1. Heat a large non stick skillet over medium high heat and melt the butter until lightly sizzling.

2. Add the mixed vegetables, dried minced onion, garlic powder, and pepper. Stir and sauté until fragrant and warmed through.

3. Push the vegetables outward to create a large center well and allow some butter to pool in the middle.

4. Pour the beaten eggs into the center and gently scramble until soft and fully cooked.

5. Mix the scrambled eggs into the vegetables and stir until evenly combined.

6. Add one cup of rice along with a small splash of Crystal Worcestershire Style Sauce or soy style seasoning. Mix well and break up any clumps.

7. Gradually add the remaining rice and seasoning, stirring after each addition to blend smoothly.

8. Continue cooking and stirring until the rice is hot, fluffy, and steamy.

9. Taste and adjust seasoning with pepper or additional soy style seasoning if desired.

10. Serve warm as a complete meal or side dish.

Notes

Leftover rice works best because it stays fluffy and prevents clumping.

Thaw frozen vegetables fully so they heat evenly and keep their texture.

For richer flavor, add a small amount of sesame oil or fresh green onion.

If reheating, warm the rice in a skillet with a little butter or a splash of water to restore moisture.
