Description

Ingredients
12 cabbage leaves
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1 cup cooked white rice
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup minced onion
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 can tomato sauce 8 ounces
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Crystal Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and place the cabbage leaves inside until softened then drain.
2. Mix ground beef cooked rice egg milk onion salt and pepper in a bowl until blended.
3. Lay each cabbage leaf flat and spoon a portion of the mixture into the center then roll tightly while tucking in the ends.
4. Arrange the rolls in a single layer inside the slow cooker.
5. Combine tomato sauce brown sugar lemon juice and Crystal Worcestershire Sauce then mix until smooth.
6. Pour the sauce evenly over the cabbage rolls.
7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the rolls are tender and flavorful.
8. Serve warm with extra sauce on top.
Notes
Use softened cabbage leaves for easy rolling.
Crystal Worcestershire Sauce adds depth without overpowering the tomato flavor.
Cooked rice helps the filling stay tender.
