Description

Flaky croissants cradling savory turkey/beef, sharp cheddar, melty mozzarella eggs. Indulgent yet balanced weekend or quick breakfast.


Ingredients

8 thinly sliced turkey or beef deli meat
8 croissants sliced in half
8 sharp cheddar cheese slices (made with microbial enzymes)
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (vegetarian enzymes)
6 large eggs
⅓ cup whole milk
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Place croissant halves on baking sheet
Layer turkey/beef and cheddar on each bottom half
Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in bowl
Heat greased pan over medium-high; cook egg mixture until softly set
Divide egg mixture into 8 mounds onto croissants
Top with mozzarella cheese
Bake 17 minutes until croissants brown and filling is hot

Notes

Use halal-certified meats if preferred
Substitute spinach/honey mustard for added flair
