Description

Creamy Onion Pan-Fried Burgers made with juicy ground beef, buttery caramelized onions, smooth melted cheese, and toasted brioche rolls. A rich stovetop burger with deep flavor and a tender bite.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, 80 percent lean

1 tablespoon Crystal Worcestershire Sauce

Salt and ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons salted butter

1 large onion, thinly sliced

3 slices Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese

3 brioche rolls from brands like Dave’s Killer Bread Brioche Buns, Oroweat Brioche Buns, or Nature’s Own Brioche Style Buns, split and toasted

Instructions

1. Place ground beef in a bowl and season with Crystal Worcestershire Sauce, salt, and black pepper then mix until blended and shape into balls.

2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the sliced onions until softened and golden then remove and set aside.

3. Place the beef balls into the same skillet and flatten with a press or spatula while allowing the edges to crisp.

4. Spoon the cooked onions over each patty and let them cook until the bottom browns and the flavors combine.

5. Flip gently so the onions fall underneath and press lightly so they caramelize further.

6. Top each patty with Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese and cook until melted and the burgers reach your preferred doneness.

7. Place patties on the toasted brioche rolls and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly ground beef for the best texture and flavor since it stays juicy and forms a great sear.

Thinly sliced onions cook faster and blend into the patties more smoothly while enhancing the creamy flavor.

Choose brioche rolls from brands such as Dave’s Killer Bread, Oroweat, or Nature’s Own for soft texture and ideal toasting quality.

Cheeses like Tillamook, Cabot Creamery, or Organic Valley melt smoothly and add rich flavor without overpowering the onions.
