Description

These Cacao Bliss Balls are rich, chocolatey, and naturally sweetened snacks made with simple pantry ingredients. They are no bake, quick to prepare, and perfect for busy days when you want something satisfying without refined sugar. The combination of dates, almonds, cacao, coconut, and peanut butter creates a fudgy texture with a deep chocolate flavor that feels indulgent yet wholesome. Ideal for meal prep, lunchboxes, or an afternoon energy boost.

Ingredients

Medjool dates, pitted and softened

Raw almonds

Shredded unsweetened coconut

Unsweetened cocoa powder

Cacao nibs

Natural or sugar free peanut butter

Instructions

Soak the pitted Medjool dates in hot tap water until soft, then drain well and gently squeeze out excess moisture

Place the almonds in a food processor and pulse until they form a coarse crumb texture

Add the shredded coconut, cocoa powder, cacao nibs, peanut butter, and softened dates to the processor

Blend until the mixture comes together in sticky clumps, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed

Remove the blade and scoop portions of the mixture, rolling them between your palms to form smooth balls

Place the finished balls on a plate and enjoy immediately or chill for a firmer texture

Notes

Using fresh, soft Medjool dates ensures the best texture and natural sweetness

Unsweetened cocoa powder and cacao nibs provide deep chocolate flavor without added sugar

Natural peanut butter with only peanuts and salt works best for clean flavor and proper binding

If the mixture feels too dry, continue blending to release more natural oils from the nuts

For easier rolling, lightly dampen your hands with water
