Description

Juicy Buffalo Chicken Burgers cooked in a skillet and coated in a buttery hot sauce mixture then layered with creamy blue cheese dressing, toasted onion rolls and crisp celery for the perfect spicy and tangy burger experience.

Ingredients

11 tablespoons salted butter

1 and a half pounds ground chicken

9 tablespoons Crystal Hot Sauce

Half teaspoon kosher salt

Quarter teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 onion rolls from Nature’s Own or Arnold, halved

3 stalks celery, 1 thinly sliced and 2 cut into sticks plus a few leaves

Half cup mayonnaise

Half cup Daisy Sour Cream

Quarter cup Salemville Blue Cheese crumbles plus more for serving

Splash of white vinegar

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Melt nine tablespoons of butter in a pan then transfer it to a measuring cup.

Place ground chicken in a bowl and mix in one tablespoon of the melted butter, one tablespoon of Crystal Hot Sauce, salt and black pepper then gently form into two patties.

Set a nonstick skillet over medium low heat and add vegetable oil then place the patties inside and increase heat to medium allowing them to brown on the first side.

Mix eight tablespoons of Crystal Hot Sauce into the remaining melted butter to create the Buffalo coating.

Flip the patties and spoon some of the butter hot sauce mixture over each patty letting them continue to cook until the flavor absorbs.

Flip again and add another spoonful of the mixture so the patties finish cooking fully and stay moist.

In a separate bowl combine mayonnaise, Daisy Sour Cream, Salemville Blue Cheese, white vinegar, salt and pepper then mix until creamy and adjust seasoning to taste.

Melt the remaining two tablespoons of butter in a skillet and toast the cut sides of the onion rolls until golden.

Spread a little of the butter hot sauce mixture on the buns then place each chicken patty on the bottom bun and top with sliced celery, blue cheese dressing, extra blue cheese crumbles and celery leaves.

Cover with the top buns and serve with extra dressing and celery sticks.

Notes

Crystal Hot Sauce gives a bright heat that blends well with butter for the classic Buffalo flavor.

Daisy Sour Cream and Salemville Blue Cheese offer smooth and balanced creaminess without overpowering the chicken.

Toasting the onion rolls helps prevent them from softening under the sauce and dressing.

Fresh celery adds crunch and contrast to the spicy and rich elements of the burger.

Ground chicken cooks quickly so keeping the heat at medium ensures even browning without drying the patties.
