Description

Soft pull apart Brown Sugar Glazed Bread made with tender biscuit dough, warm cinnamon, melted butter, and a smooth brown sugar glaze flavored with alcohol free vanilla.


Ingredients

1/2 stick butter melted

1 can alcohol free biscuit dough such as Immaculate Baking Organic Flaky Biscuits or Annie’s Flaky Biscuit Dough

1 gallon size zip top bag

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Cinnamon to taste

For the glaze:

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor such as Alcohol Free Simply Organic or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor


Instructions

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

3. Cut each biscuit into four pieces.

4. Place several pieces at a time into a gallon zip top bag and add about ten shakes of cinnamon.

5. Seal the bag and shake until all pieces are evenly coated.

6. Grease a baking pan and arrange the coated dough pieces closely together.

7. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dough.

8. Bake for about twenty five minutes, checking the center pieces for doneness.

9. If the top browns too quickly, place a piece of foil loosely over the pan.

10. While the bread bakes, mix the glaze by combining brown sugar, water, and alcohol free vanilla flavor until smooth.

11. When finished baking, loosen the sides with a spatula.

12. Invert the pan over a plate and lift the pan away carefully.

13. Drizzle the brown sugar glaze over the warm bread and serve while soft and sticky.

Notes

Cutting the dough pieces evenly helps them bake at the same rate.

Adding extra cinnamon creates a deeper warm flavor.

If the glaze is too thick, add a small splash of water to adjust the consistency.

Warm leftovers briefly before eating to soften the glaze again.
