9. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes for a fully set center aim for 60 minutes for a crisp exterior and done center or 55 minutes for a slightly softer middle ovens vary so check with a toothpick that it comes out with a few moist crumbs not wet batter

10. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing this helps the crumb set and produces cleaner slices

Notes

For a crispy exterior and a fully done center bake about 60 minutes for a slightly underbaked softer center aim for 55 minutes check early if your oven runs hot

Greek yogurt keeps the loaf moist you can substitute sour cream for similar texture and tang

Use a mix of chocolate chunks and chips for varied melt pockets reserve some chips for a pretty topping

Flaky sea salt on top enhances the brown sugar caramel notes and balances sweetness

Let the loaf cool before slicing to avoid crumbly slices
