This bowl is simple, fast, and packed with fresh flavors that blend beautifully for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

1 five ounce can tuna drained

1 small ripe avocado

1 teaspoon mayo or omit and use a larger avocado

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Juice of half a lime

One third cup diced cucumber

Three quarters cup cooked jasmine rice

2 teaspoons coconut aminos

Sesame seeds to garnish

1 tablespoon sliced green onion

Seaweed squares for serving

Pickled ginger for serving

Instructions

1. Combine tuna avocado and mayo in a bowl until the mixture becomes creamy and well blended

2. Season with salt pepper garlic powder and fresh lime juice then mix again

3. Place the cooked jasmine rice into a serving bowl and keep it fluffy

4. Add the tuna mixture cucumber and coconut aminos to the bowl and stir gently

5. Top with sesame seeds and green onion for added flavor and crunch

6. Serve with seaweed squares and pickled ginger on the side

7. Enjoy with a fork or scoop the mixture into seaweed pieces and roll

Notes

Use a ripe avocado that yields slightly to pressure for smooth texture

Let the tuna and avocado mixture rest briefly to enhance the lime and garlic flavors

Keep cucumber pieces evenly diced to maintain crunch without adding excess moisture

Taste and adjust seasoning since salt levels vary between tuna brands

Prepare seaweed squares and pickled ginger fresh for the best flavor experience

The bowl tastes best when freshly assembled since avocado browns quickly even with lime juice
