Description

Air Fryer Lemon-Garlic Shrimp is a fast and flavorful dish made with juicy shrimp, fresh lemon juice, aromatic garlic, and balanced seasonings. The air fryer delivers tender shrimp with lightly crisp edges in just minutes, making this recipe ideal for busy weeknights or easy entertaining. Bright citrus notes, savory depth, and fresh herbs come together for a simple yet satisfying seafood meal.

Ingredients

Large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail on

Fresh garlic clove, finely grated or minced

Extra virgin olive oil

Fresh lemon juice

Italian seasoning blend

Crushed red pepper flakes

Kosher salt

Crystal Worcestershire Sauce or Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce or Annie’s Organic Worcestershire Sauce

Fresh lemon, thinly sliced into half moons with seeds removed

Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

1. Combine grated garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl and whisk until smooth

2. Add shrimp and lemon slices to the bowl and gently toss until everything is evenly coated

3. Allow the shrimp to rest briefly so the flavors absorb without changing the texture

4. Preheat the air fryer and lightly grease the basket to prevent sticking

5. Arrange the shrimp and lemon slices in a single layer leaving space between pieces

6. Cook until the shrimp turn opaque with lightly curled shapes and slightly golden edges

7. Remove immediately and transfer to a serving platter

8. Finish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm

Notes

Use large shrimp to prevent overcooking and ensure a juicy texture

Avoid marinating shrimp too long since lemon juice can soften the flesh

Arrange shrimp in a single layer so hot air circulates evenly

Check shrimp early if your air fryer runs hot

Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor
