A rich and flavorful 25 Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta made with tender shrimp, garlic infused butter, lemon, fresh parsley, and Cabot Shredded Parmesan for a creamy finish. This quick dish delivers a comforting and satisfying meal with simple steps and bold flavor.
Ingredients
8 ounces spaghetti
4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 garlic cloves minced
1/4 cup Cabot Shredded Parmesan
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
Boil spaghetti in salted water until cooked then reserve one cup of pasta water and drain.
Melt two tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium high heat and add shrimp salt and crushed red pepper and cook until pink then remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium and add remaining butter with garlic and stir until fragrant.
Add Cabot Shredded Parmesan lemon juice and pasta water and mix until creamy and smooth.
Add spaghetti to the skillet and toss until coated in the sauce.
Add cooked shrimp back into the skillet and toss to combine.
Top with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
Warm gently on the stovetop with a splash of water or butter to loosen the sauce.
Gluten free pasta can be used if preferred.
A small amount of milk can be added to create a creamier sauce.
