Description
Warm, gooey, and packed with rich chocolate flavor and crunchy-soft Oreos, this Oreo Dump Cake is the ultimate no-fuss dessert for parties or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
24 Oreo cookies (18 for base, 6 for topping)
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
15.25 oz chocolate fudge cake mix
½ cup salted butter, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Arrange 18 Oreo cookies in a single layer at the bottom of the pan.
3. Drizzle all of the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the Oreos.
4. Spread the thawed whipped topping gently over the milk layer.
5. Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly across the top—do not stir.
6. Top with cold, thin butter slices, spacing to cover as much of the surface as possible.
7. Crush the remaining 6 Oreos and sprinkle over the butter layer.
8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until bubbling at the edges and the top looks set.
9. Scoop and serve warm for best texture.
Notes
Don’t crush the base Oreos, they bake into a soft layer.
Cold, thin butter slices ensure the cake mix bakes evenly and stays moist.
This dessert is best served warm straight from the oven.
For extra flavor, try swapping in Mint Oreos or adding Nutella between layers.
