1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
½ cup key lime juice
1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks. Mix well until fully blended.
3. Pour the mixture into the unbaked graham cracker crust.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the filling is just set with a slight jiggle in the center.
5. Remove from oven and allow to cool at room temperature for 1 hour.
6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can substitute bottled key lime juice if fresh key limes are unavailable.
For a homemade crust, combine 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs, ⅓ cup sugar, and 6 tablespoons melted butter. Press into pie pan and bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
The pie is best served chilled and can be made a day in advance.
